Hydrogen fueling stations

Scope:
This Standard specifies the mechanical and electrical requirements and guidelines for operation, and maintenance of site-built and modular hydrogen fuelling stations (HFS) intended to fuel light-duty, medium-duty, heavy-duty land vehicles.
Project need:
To update the current standard due to user experience/feedback/new technology and introduce references for heavy-duty fueling with LH2 and cryogenic hydrogen.
This proposed New Edition is being developed at the request of interested parties. It will provide the industry with requirements for heavy duty fueling with cryogenic and liquid hydrogen applications.
This will meet the strategic needs of the following key interests:
- ensuring that the latest innovative/technology/safety features are available for users,
- addressing needs of regulators by providing suitable requirements; and
- supporting certification bodies.
