Information Technology Service Management Systems
We are the only internationally recognized accreditation body in Canada offering Information Technology Service Management Systems (ITSMS) accreditation, which is based on ISO/IEC 20000-6, the international standard for bodies providing audit and certification of service management systems. As a pre-requisite, certification bodies must also be accredited to ISO/IEC 17021-1.
Organizations across industries implement ISO/IEC 20000-1 to manage and improve the service lifecycle — from planning and design to transition, delivery and continual improvement. SCC-accredited certification bodies offer trusted third-party oversight, helping organizations deliver consistent, high-quality services that meet customer expectations and organizational goals. ISO/IEC 20000-1 shares a common high-level structure with other standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001, making integration straightforward for organizations of all sizes using multiple management systems.
